This is my weekly post where I highlight and appreciate cover designs and the general physical appearance of books. We all judge book covers to some extent. I can’t say that I’ve ever decided against a book with terrible cover art if I liked the sound of the plot, but I have purchased special editions of books, or multiple editions of books based on their cover art. If book covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t put out so many beautiful editions!
The Skyrim Library, Vol. II: Man, Mer, and Beast came out in March of this year and my Sweetbeeps gave it to me as a wedding present (no, he didn’t realize there’s a volume 1). Since then, he’s gone back to playing and so have I and probably we’re both a little obsessed at the moment. This volume contains various works regarding, well, the men, mers and beasts of Skyrim, by way of essays, poems and short stories written by the people of Skyrim. If you’re in to the game, it’s certainly worth checking out. ISBN: 9781783293209.
where can I get THAT??? I want it so much!
