Judging A Book

Judging A Book By Its Cover: The Little Mermaid

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent – I created this feature to highlight and appreciate the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t put out so many wonderful editions!

Sweetbeeps gifted me this Minalima edition of The Little Mermaid and other tales by Hans Christian Anderson. It was published in 2018 by HarperDesign, ISBN:9780062692597.

      1. I have the Beauty and the Beast and ever since then I have wanted them all! Except I don’t really care about The Jungle Book so I guess I could live without that. But this one! I think I almost swooned when I saw that first full-page illustration.

        1. I also have beauty and the beast. I want the other ones just so i can have the set. They’ll be cool to look at even if I don’t read them. Isn’t it jungle book, Peter pan and…maybe the secret garden?
