This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent – I created this feature to highlight and appreciate the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t put out so many wonderful editions!
Another fantastic birthday gift – in fact, looking over these pictures again, I want to stop writing this post and go read this book right now. I’m so excited (likely this won’t stop me from unintentionally ignoring this book for ages)! I love when authors are able to illustrate their own books. I feel like it adds depth and meaning! I love seeing that extra skill.
Snow & Rose was written and illustrated by Emily Winfield Martin and published in 2017 by Random House, ISBN: 9780553538182.
It’s gorgeous!! I think I’ve heard of this book before on Goodreads, but I had no idea it was illustrated, and illustrated so beautifully on top of that!
