This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent – I created this feature to highlight and appreciate the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t put out so many wonderful editions!
I picked four books at random to feature because they have minimal interior design, but their exteriors are lovely!
A Nearer Moon by Melanie Crowder has a cover design by Sonia Chaghatzbanian and illustration by Zdenko Basic and was published in 2015 by Atheneum Books, ISBN: 9781481441490.
Ivy Aberdeen’s Letter to the World by Ashley Herring Blake has jacket art by Good Wives and Warriors and design by Sasha Illingworth & Angela Taldone and was published in 2018 by Little, Brown, ISBN: 9780316515467.
Vicious by V.E. Schwab has cover art by Victo Ngai and was published in 2013 by Tor, ISBN: 9780765335357.
The Night Diary by Veera Hiranandani has jacket illustrations and design by Kelley Brady and was published in 2018 by Dial, ISBN: 9780735228511.
Great post ❤

It’s so funny you featured A Nearer Moon! I actually picked up a copy at a library used book sale a few weeks ago. I had not seen it before, but I couldn’t resist the cover! Have you read it?

Yeah, I think I’ve got a review on here if you search it. Sadly my memory is shit, but I recall really enjoying it!
