September!
In September I read 8 books for a total of 1,961 pages and an average of 65 pages per day. My reading is definitely slowing down, but I loved most the books I read this month – it’s definitely about quality and not quantity!
The only real stinker this month was the third (and hopefully final) Freddy’s book, which I knew I wasn’t going to enjoy. I still don’t know why I torture myself with that series, but if you enjoy ranty reviews, definitely check those out.
Reviewed:
Spirit Hunters by Ellen Oh
First Sentence: “Harper!”
Chronos by edited by Eric S. Fomley
The Fourth Closet by Kira Breed-Wrisley & Scott Cawthon
First Sentence: “Charlie!”
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon vol 1 by Naoko Takeuchi
A few thoughts on Goodreads:
Motor Crush vol 2 by Brenden Fletcher
The Thousand Demon Tree by Jeffrey Alan Love
Reviews to come:
Bloody Rose by Nicholas Eames
First Sentence: Tam’s mother used to say she had a Wyld Heart.
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
First Sentence: It was a pleasure to burn.
Per usual I’m doing awful on my TBR Tear Down challenge though I did at least start one of the books on the roster. Maybe next month I’ll have a real update (though it’s unlikely.)
Was at the comic book store this weekend and saw Thousand Demon Tree there. I was tempted to get it but decided to stick to what I was there for.

I didn’t read as many books as I typically do last month either. Is October going better for you?

A little bit. I’ve got a review book that’s been kinda slumping me, so I’ve started ignoring it and reading shorter books. You?
