May!
In May I read 9 books for a total of 2,197 pages and an average of 70 pages per day. It seems I was too busy buying (and receiving) books this month to read as much as I wanted.
I always tend to substantially increase my book hoard during my birthday month. Slowly my friends and family are learning that I just prefer books as gifts and my ‘treat yourself’ attitude really tends to shine in May too. It felt like I was reading at a slower pace than usual, though I still did great in terms of number of books. I just have so many to read still! It was a good reading month though, with the exception of The Time Collector -_-

Better Reads Challenge:
Despite feeling like my progress was slow, I made the effort to read every day this month!
Month: 31/31
Year: 143/365
TBR Tear Down:
I did ok this month, I think. I gave myself a pass again on the Tanith series, because it’s Tanith and a series and I’m not getting rid of it anyway, so I might as well keep it on my list. Got a good start on the Earthsea series – I would have been happy just reading the first book. I’m sooo bad at sticking to even a small TBR.
Non-Review Highlights:
Oh wow! Happy Belated Birthday!! 😀
