This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent (don’t lie, you totally do!) I created this feature to showcase and admire the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t make so many wonderful editions!
I have so many middle-grade books in my collection that I could probably dedicate this blog to them for a year. I’m back today with three more books that I still haven’t read, but I’m really excited to (right guys? RiGHT?) I bought Cactus because, how could I not? The Scandalous Sisterhood was something I saw recommended on someone’s Youtube channel who enjoys MG. And Nevermoor is a book that seemingly everyone is praising!
Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus by Dusti Bowling was designed by Ryan Thomann and published in 2017 by Sterling Children’s, ISBN: 9781454923459.
There’s an illustration of a tarantula at the end of the book, but I wasn’t about to photograph that >:[
