January!
In January I read 9 books for a total of 2,339 pages and an average of 76 pages per day. This was a successful start to the new year!
I read a lot of great stuff this year, starting with The Adventure Zone comics, which I picked up before starting the podcast, that I’m now obsessed with. I did have a DNF, but I kind of like starting the year that way, because it’s a reminder that I don’t need to push through books I’m not enjoying.
I’m trying a more condensed wrap-up format for the new year. Trying to find a balance between having some visual elements and a little info about the book, but not going overboard with details, because I don’t know how many of y’all really care about wrap-ups anyway. I’m also super behind on reviews, so hopefully, I’ll catch up with that at some point too.

I’ve got a fairly detailed review on Goodreads, but this book just didn’t work for me because I wasn’t the least bit invested in the characters, or even really the plot. When there wasn’t action happening, I was bored out of my mind. I put it down for a few days in favor of books I was enjoying and realized I had no need to pick it up again.
