Judging A Book By Its Cover: Eternal Sailor Moon (vol 6)

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent (don’t lie, you totally do!) so I created this feature to showcase and admire the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t make so many wonderful editions!

Back with more shiny editions of the Sailor Moon comics. Just two more editions to be released and then I’ll have the full set! They’ve added the little side-stories throughout the series, so I’m curious if the two Sailor Venus shorts will also be included, or maybe added as their own volume? That would be nice.

Anyway, the new edition is written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi, lettering by Lys Blakeslee, cover by Phil Balsman, published in 2019 by Kodansha Comics, ISBN: 9781632365934. The two small mangas were published in 2012, volume 7 ISBN: 9781612620039, volume 8 ISBN: 9781612620046.
