January!
I kicked off my new year by reading 21 books – most of them were comics, so it ended up being an unintentional Comic Month. I totaled 4,679 pages and averaged 151 pages per day.

I kicked off my new year by reading 21 books – most of them were comics, so it ended up being an unintentional Comic Month. I totaled 4,679 pages and averaged 151 pages per day.
In October I read 8 books for a total of 2,321 pages and an average of 75 pages per day!
In Satrapi September I read 8 books for a total of 1,910 pages and an average of 64 pages per day.
Last month I finished 10 books, for a total of 3,073 pages and an average of 99 pages per day. There was one book I didn’t finish, but I did add the pages read to my overall count. Five of these books were review books – the most books I’ve read for review in a month!
In July I read 8 books, for a total of 2,742 pages and an average of 89 pages per day. I’m down compared to my stats for last month – I was a little bogged down during the Maze Runner series and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot took me 9 days to complete.
Thomas wakes up in a lift, no memory of where he is or who he is, only his first name. He soon discovers he’s been trapped in The Maze with about 50 other boys, all clueless as to their past and striving to solve this impossible puzzle and make their escape. The Maze changes daily and is full of dangerous creatures, but all the boys hold the hope that whoever put them in this place, left them with a way out. Thomas is determined to become a Runner, someone who explores the maze and find an escape route. The day after Thomas’s arrival, however, a girl arrives – the first to be sent to The Maze – and everything changes.
In June I read 10 books for a total of 3,291 pages and an average of 110 pages a day. I read more books last month, but more pages this month. So far, for the year I’m averaging 49 pages a day, with my books being an average of 320 pages in length.
In May I read 12 books for a total of 2,927 pages and averaged 94 pages per day. Only about 700 more pages compared to last month, but I read way more books (though most were pretty slim). Two were advanced copies sent to me for review.
Let me start off by saying I received a free copy of the e-book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book contains 14 short stories regarding humanity in space, reaching farther than the Earth and moon, struggling to create new communities and dealing with new technology.
Oh, my, god, Becky! Look at her books! I have officially logged my 1,000th book this week and I find that super exciting!
