[•_•[] New books! I picked up The Black Friend because I read and loved Patriarchy Blues back in February. I nabbed The Good Immigrant because I just saw @bites__of__books review it. The covers of both of these are beautiful, but more importantly I'm looking forward to reading both this year (they're already added into my outline). I've really been enjoying making sure I read at least one non-fiction a month. I actually own quite a bit and now find myself acquiring more!
[•_•[] my latest review picks from @workmanpub have arrived! Excited to read Camp Quiltbag and check out the Big Feelings Survival Guide (the kid in me still loves an interactive work book/guided journal) and I plan to pass on Mermaid and Pirate to a friend after I've read it.
[·_·[] April was another solid month for quality, though I would have liked to finish another book or two. But really, the stakes are pretty damn low if I don't meet my yearly goal, so whatever lol. Everything I read was right around 4 stars - poggy.
