Guilty Reader Tag
I’m currently only vacation and I wanted to make sure I still had regular content, so I decided to do this tag that I meant to do about a million years ago. I noticed it on my friend Chelsea’s channel.
What Type of Reader Are You?
Many of us in the bookosphere talk about being Mood Readers or Monthly TBR Compilers (okay, maybe I made up this exact term) when it comes to how we pick our next read. But I want to dig deeper into my reading habits and quirks so that you get the full picture of how I experience books and reading.
Reading Multiple Books At Once
Prior to this year, if you came to my house, you’d find one book near my bed with a ribbon bookmark in it, keeping my dead Nook company. Then, if you looked to my fiancé’s bedside table, you’d find at least two, maybe more, books with scraps of paper stuck in to keep his place.
The Classics: Are They For You?
I don’t know about you, but I have a love-hate relationship with “classic” literature. First off, let me start by ranting about how everyone assumes just because I read a lot, that I’m an expert on classic literature. I may have touched on this before, but many people assume that just because I own over 1,000 books, and I spend most of my free time reading, that I’ve read all the classics. Well, sorry, but I haven’t. I’d like to read several of them, but unfortunately, many of them can be a chore to get through.

June Wrap Up
June!
In June I read 10 books for a total of 3,291 pages and an average of 110 pages a day. I read more books last month, but more pages this month. So far, for the year I’m averaging 49 pages a day, with my books being an average of 320 pages in length.
1,000 books!
Oh, my, god, Becky! Look at her books! I have officially logged my 1,000th book this week and I find that super exciting!
