This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent – I created this feature to highlight and appreciate the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t put out so many wonderful editions!
Not going to lie, I mostly picked up Mothership because I loved the colors and the bold graphics of the cover. It’s YA, but it does sound interesting so I do plan to read it someday. It’s by Martin Leicht and Isla Neal and was published in 2012 by Simon & Schuster with jacket design by Lizzy Bromley and jacket illustration by Luke Pearson, ISBN: 9781442429604.
Oh that pretty purple cover! 😀 I love it!!

The colors on this one are really nice! Now that I think about it, it seems that there are not many purple covers?

Yeah that’s what caught my eye. The color pallet was so strong and uncommon.
