Judging A Book By Its Cover: The Night Circus

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent (don’t lie, you totally do!) I created this feature to showcase and admire the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t make so many wonderful editions!

I have four copies of The Night Circus now and I’m over the moon about it! I’ve already done a post for the two paperbacks, but I just wanted to take a couple shots of the whole family.

Today I’m featuring the two hardcovers – the U.S. edition I picked up used so I can have a sturdy copy to annotate in the future (you see, the second paperback from the top is the only copy I’ll actually use for reading because, yes, I am insane) and then a friend gifted me the Waterstones edition with the blue sprayed edges. -HEART EYES-

Because I noticed it, you have to as well – the design is not centered on the cover – look at all that space on the right! U_U
